THAT's the Wickman we know and love!

Whew! Bob Wickman got the save and the Tribe de-throned the Royals 6-5. (OK, I know that the Royals are on an eleven game losing streak, so the only throne they occupied is porcelain.) Indians fans still like it because we needed to see a save. The last few games were not close in either direction. Ole' Bob always makes it interesting.

  1. I didn't want to say this but now that its started to happen I guess I can come out and say it without jinxing the Indians - I was afraid the cool off of the bats and pitching was going to come. I actually was thinking it might happen in May. I think the bottom line if you finish 1 game out of the playoffs you could look at a handful of games and say "we should have won this and if we would have . . " it may not be because of games in April. I hope the day off today will help the team regroup and refocus for the next couple of tough series with Boston and Chicago. Who knows maybe they thought - hey its KC, they lost 11 we can beat these guys in our sleep.
