A little Indians, A little Browns

The suspensions were handed down for the Friday night brawl. Fausto got 6 games, Victor and Astrubal 3 games a piece. Gary Sheffield only got 4 games. That seems a bit unfair. Gary Sheffield was just as guilty as Fausto. The only thing Fausto did that Gary didn't was land a few punches. But I think Gary should get just as many games because of the threats he made to some of the Indians who might have landed a cheap shot when Fausto had him in a headlock. I do think it is a bit ridiculous that Fausto is appealing and that Eric Wedge said they need Fausto to pitch one more time in a meaningless season.

The Browns just stink and I don't know if Quinn is the answer. Its not DA's fault the receivers are dropping passes that are hitting them in the numbers. I'm tired of hearing Romeo's excuses. He may be a nice man but its tough on me as a fan to hear the excuses. I know we have injuries apparently we do not have the depth to cover while the guys are out.

  1. Fausto got 6 games because he is a pitcher...they want him to miss a start....if he pitches one more game this season, serves a 3-4 game suspension, and picks up 2-3 at the beginning of 2009, he'll never miss a start! I agree that Sheffield should have gotten more....he started the whole thing...he should spend more time looking at films....of opposing pitchers! Can you say .225 BA for a guy who gets $12-15Million per year?

  2. The O-Line is terrible this year, the receivers are lame, and the personnel selection/play calling is questionable. How can K2 be on the bench at the end of a game (pittsburgh) when you are in need of big play passes? Cedric Steptoe must have the goods on one of the coaches!
